Calendula Sisterhood

Lena and I have known each other for many years, and we have both chosen to follow our hearts when it comes to career. I as a self-proclaimed sustainability ambassador and Lena who has written books about her grandmother's life. Not only did she find the story of a young girl's choices about education - and having a "life mission" - she also uncovered her own values in life that she had previously been unaware of. When she told me one day that she wanted to start an organization and work for girls' right to education - I quickly replied that I wanted to help.

The idea has matured for a while, and we see that this is not just about education, but about Empowerment. We want to empower women by building a Sisterhood.

Calendula Sisterhood is now registered in Brønnøysund as a nonprofit organization.

It all starts with a thought. We are two sisters who are not sisters, but precisely in such a new "Sisterhood" there is tremendous potential. Women can change the world when they are given a chance and cheered.
