Thank you NCCE!
- It has been absolutely fantastic being part of establishing and scaling the Norwegian Centre of Circular Economy (NCCE) together with the board, the administration, the members, the partners, the resource team members and others. Many thanks for shared commitment and knowledge, togetherness and lots of fun! We will surely meet on many different arenas where our joint commitment and contributions are on the agenda. TOGETHER we ensure a sustainable future!

The Norwegian Center for Circular Economy was founded in December 2017. The initiators, who consisted of people representing industry, other businesses and public enterprises, then started to map joint opportunities and brought many others along. As a result of the cooperation between them, projects were initiated, implemented and carried out - and new expertise, new innovation and new value creation took place.
In the spring of 2021, the dialogue started with the network NoWaste!, which in turn had a very similar background, and the two networks quickly found that together they would be even stronger and strengthen the offer to members. NCCE + NoWaste! then applied for admission in the Arena cluster program to Norwegian Innovation - and was admitted in November of the same year. Admission to the Arena program provides financial and professional support for a long-term development of the cooperation in the cluster.
Today, the Norwegian Center for Circular Economy (NCCE) is Norway's largest circular economy cluster with 97 members (at the time of writing) and the cluster's purpose is to utilize the resources found in today's waste and side streams from industry, agriculture, business and households. Everything is in order for the purpose to be achieved;
• The financial and professional support from the Norwegian Innovation Cluster provides solidity, creates room for growth and opens the way for value creation through sustainable innovation.
• The board has members with broad expertise within circular economy and a shared strong commitment to NCCE - and to a more circular future.
• The administration has skilled and committed employees with special expertise in circular economy, network management, business development and project management, etc.
• The members represent expertise and experience and – Circular economy in every way!
• Collaborative partners contribute with important expertise and experience - through discussions and referrals - which of course goes both ways.
TOGETHER, all of the above, have everything that is neccesary for a successful transition from a linear to a more circular - and sustainable - future!
Here are some memories from my time in the Norwegian Centre of Circular Economy:
What a journey! Thank you - thank you - thank you - to EVERYONE!
Life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them!
